School Administrators

There are Six (6) important public notices you need to publish in your local newspaper before the start of the new school term:

  1. Public Notice of Non-Discrimination

  2. Public Notice of Rights under the Family Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA)

  3. Public Notice for Directory Information

  4. Public Notice for Child Find

  5. Public Notice for Speech/Language and Hearing Screenings

  6. Public Notice of Rights under the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA)

 

Please Note:  Form #7 below MUST be published prior to a district conducting student surveys, collection and use of information for marketing purposes and certain physical exams protected by the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA).

If you use your own public notices, be sure and cross check those notices with the Office of Civil Rights and the US Department of Education to be in compliance. The Preschool screening public notice used in the spring is located on the Administrative Links under DIAL Screen Information.
